Altitude Integrates MoonPay Virtual Accounts To Bridge Fiat And Stablecoin Rails
Altitude has integrated MoonPay Enterprise virtual accounts into its global operating platform on Solana, giving businesses a single compliant interface to receive fiat, hold stablecoins, and execute cross-border payments.
A Unified Account for Fiat and Stablecoins
@Altitude has embedded @MoonPay Enterprise virtual accounts directly into its global operating account, giving treasury teams a single interface that spans traditional banking and on-chain settlement on @Solana. The move addresses a persistent pain point for corporate treasurers: the need to maintain separate providers for fiat collection, stablecoin conversion, and cross-border payouts.
Under the arrangement, businesses using Altitude are issued dedicated virtual accounts that sit on familiar banking rails. Virtual accounts enable platforms to issue named, dedicated accounts that can receive fiat funds via local and international payment rails such as ACH, Wire, and SWIFT, with incoming funds automatically converted into stablecoins and settled directly into users' non-custodial wallets. On the Altitude platform, those settled assets land within a Solana-native treasury environment.
How MoonPay Enterprise Powers the Infrastructure
MoonPay Enterprise is built on Iron, the API-first stablecoin infrastructure platform MoonPay acquired in March 2025. Iron provides the technology layer that lets companies issue virtual accounts, manage multi-currency treasuries, and move funds across borders over traditional rails like ACH, wire, and SWIFT, with incoming fiat automatically converted into stablecoins and settled into wallets through a single API.
Businesses building stablecoin-based payment flows previously had to combine multiple providers to cover fiat on-ramps, stablecoin issuance, and cross-border settlement separately. That fragmented approach added vendor dependencies, cost, and compliance overhead for companies operating across jurisdictions. MoonPay Enterprise is designed to consolidate these functions into a single platform. The Altitude integration extends that consolidation to Solana-based treasury operations.
Users can receive deposits via standard banking rails, including ACH or Wire for USD, SEPA for EUR, and UK bank transfer for GBP, and MoonPay Enterprise handles the conversion to a stablecoin like USDC, PYUSD, or EURC on supported blockchains including Ethereum, Solana, and Arbitrum.
The integration routes funds through a compliance engine that connects legacy fiat systems directly to stablecoin rails, bypassing the correspondent banking chains that typically slow corporate money movement. For treasury operators on Altitude, that means the ability to receive fiat, hold stablecoins, and execute global payments from one compliant interface, without switching between platforms or managing multiple banking relationships.
MoonPay has also integrated Iron's stablecoin infrastructure into global payroll and HR platform Deel, enabling more than 40,000 businesses across the UK and EU to pay workers in stablecoins, and announced a collaboration with Paysafe to bring its stablecoin capabilities to a platform processing nearly $170 billion in annual transaction volume. The Altitude deal adds another layer to that enterprise push, this time targeting Solana-native businesses managing cross-border treasury flows.
