Arc Opens Microgrant Applications for Mainnet Builders

The @Arc Network has launched a microgrant program aimed squarely at developers who want to build on its freshly live mainnet. The program offers $500 USDC each to 20 eligible early-stage projects, for a total pool of $10,000 USDC. Applications are open now, and the push is deliberately targeted at small, functional experiments rather than polished products.

Twenty eligible projects will each receive $500 USDC to fund mini-apps, prototypes, proofs of concept, or other technical experiments, with applicants required to submit a deployable link and a public code repository by the October 14 deadline. Selected recipients are expected to be announced by October 21. Crucially, the grants are non-dilutive and carry no requirements for equity, intellectual property transfer, or exclusivity.

Why This Matters for the Arc Ecosystem

The timing of the program is no coincidence. Arc Mainnet, positioning itself as the Economic OS for the internet, is now live as an open financial platform powering global markets, real-time value movement, and agentic economic activity. At its base is an open Layer 1 network with institutional validators, USDC as native gas, and interoperability with 20-plus blockchains through Circle CCTP and Gateway.

The microgrant program is designed to populate that network with agent-ready applications quickly. The program requires a live mainnet deployment, meaning testnet-only builds do not qualify. That condition pushes developers to ship real, working software onto the chain rather than prototype in a sandboxed environment.

The broader Arc ecosystem is already drawing significant institutional attention. The founding validator cohort includes BlackRock, DTCC, Mastercard, Visa, ICE, Galaxy, Standard Chartered, SBI Group, and MoneyGram. Arc's global developer community includes more than 75,000 active Arc House members and 10,000 Architect ambassadors, who have built more than 1,200 projects on Arc. The microgrant initiative is a direct effort to accelerate that momentum at the grassroots level, rewarding the small-scale builders who will prove the practical utility of Arc's Economic OS vision through October 14.
