BitGo Launches Link To Unify Institutional Liquidity Across Coinbase, Kraken, and Crypto.com
BitGo has launched Link, a centralized platform that connects institutional holdings across Coinbase, Kraken, and Crypto.com into a single interface, with its Policy Engine enforcing governance controls across all transfers.
BitGo Debuts Link for Multi-Exchange Treasury Management
@BitGo has officially launched Link, a centralized command center built to bridge institutional holdings across external exchange venues. The platform connects accounts from @Coinbase, @Kraken, and @Cryptocom into a single interface, giving treasury managers the ability to rebalance capital and meet margin requirements without stepping outside the BitGo ecosystem.
The move addresses a persistent challenge in institutional crypto operations. As BitGo has noted previously, financing and liquidity infrastructure across digital assets has "often remained fragmented, requiring multiple counterparties, manual processes, and collateral movements across venues." Link takes aim at that problem by pulling major exchange relationships into one consolidated view.
Policy Engine Keeps Governance Controls in Place
A key feature of Link is the enforcement of BitGo's proprietary Policy Engine across all transfers made through the platform. That means institutional governance rules and permission controls remain active regardless of where assets are ultimately deployed, including across third-party exchange accounts at Coinbase, Kraken, and Crypto.com.
The governance layer matters for institutional clients, who typically operate under strict internal compliance requirements. As institutional interest in digital assets grows, firms require infrastructure that meets regulatory standards, enforces governance controls, and supports scalable capital deployment. Link is designed to provide exactly that across multiple venues simultaneously.
Founded in 2013, BitGo pioneered the multi-signature wallet and processes approximately 20% of all global Bitcoin transactions by value. The firm has steadily expanded its institutional product suite, having earlier this year launched a unified financing platform through its BitGo Prime subsidiary that addressed fragmented financing infrastructure by bringing borrowing, lending, collateral management, and monitoring into a single workflow. Link extends that consolidation strategy to live exchange liquidity.
