@PancakeSwap recorded approximately $75 million in single-day trading volume for @bstocksfinance tokens, with activity spanning names including SpaceX, Nvidia, Tesla, Apple, and GameStop, as well as index products tracking the Nasdaq-100 and S&P 500, according to data from rwa.xyz.
What Are bStocks?
bStocks are not conventional shares. They are classified as certificates representing certain financial instruments. bStocks are not stocks or shares and do not allow holders to directly own a share or stock in the underlying listed company. Instead, holders receive an interest in securities the issuer holds. bStocks are tokenized U.S. securities issued as BEP-20 tokens, live on @BNBChain, and each token is a digital representation of a real-world share backed 1:1 by a U.S. share. A built-in rebase mechanism handles dividends and splits automatically, with no manual airdrops or broken balances.
bStocks do not grant voting rights or direct legal shareholder status in the underlying companies. Investors remain exposed to smart contract vulnerabilities, potential tracking errors relative to primary markets, and evolving regulatory frameworks across international jurisdictions. U.S. residents remain excluded from these products under current SEC rules.
Rapid Growth on BNB Chain
The $75 million daily figure is part of a broader surge in on-chain equity activity. The full bStocks range now carries $624 million in value across 72 assets, all on @BNBChain, with the holder count climbing to over 981,000, up roughly 370% in the past month, per rwa.xyz data.
PancakeSwap has emerged as the leading decentralized exchange for tokenized stock trading, handling around $3.1 to $3.3 billion in volume so far in 2026. This growth reflects a wider surge in tokenized stock trading on DEXs, rising from just 0.1% of total DEX spot volume at the end of 2025 to over 4% in 2026.
Tokenized assets can be traded on PancakeSwap and deployed as collateral on lending platforms like Venus Protocol and Lista, allowing users to borrow against equity positions without selling. Tokenized versions trade around the clock, every day of the year, and fractionalization enables purchases of fractional shares without a brokerage account, minimum balances, or KYC friction.
BNB Chain is now the largest blockchain for tokenized equities following the launch of bStocks, according to research firm Messari. The claim marks a competitive shift in a corner of crypto that has drawn Coinbase, Solana projects, and traditional finance experiments over the past year.
