Volume and Reach

Plume (@plumenetwork) is gaining traction in the real-world asset space. Its flagship yield product has now settled over $600 million in real-world asset volume, with independent trackers placing cumulative volume as high as $738.5 million on platforms including Nest Credit.

The vaults consolidate assets like US Treasuries, private credit, and collateralized loan obligations (CLOs) into non-custodial, yield-generating vault tokens. The platform operates across Ethereum, Solana, Avalanche, BNB Chain, and Plume's own network, broadening access for users across the DeFi ecosystem.

The platform has accumulated over 195,000 RWA holders, capturing both retail participants and institutional allocators.

Institutional Capital Moves In

The clearest signal of institutional confidence came in June 2026. Etherfi directed $100 million into a Plume RWA vault called nBASIS. The allocation came from a mix of Etherfi's liquidity provider base, including funds, family offices, and high-net-worth individuals, as well as managed capital from its existing liquid vaults.

The vault gives eligible Etherfi users access to institutional-grade real-world asset yield through the same app they already use, connecting one of crypto's larger onchain neobank platforms with Plume's Nest Vaults infrastructure. With more than $6 billion in customer deposits, Etherfi brings the vault a built-in audience as DeFi users look for yield products tied to more durable, real-world cash-flow sources.

Plume said its RWA vaults are similar to structured income products and give users access to yield from a basket of institutional assets, including overcollateralized credit pools, AAA-rated collateralized loan obligations, and total bond market exchange-traded funds sourced from asset managers that collectively oversee more than $10 trillion in assets.

On the regulatory side, Plume Network holds licenses from the Bermuda Monetary Authority and has obtained SEC transfer agent approval, a relatively rare credential in the tokenized asset space. The network is backed by Galaxy Digital, YZi Labs, and Brevan Howard.
