Pons And Flork Explode After Binance Alpha Listing

Binance Alpha expanded its token roster on September 2 with the addition of PONS and $FLORK, triggering sharp price swings across both tokens and drawing significant attention from traders looking for early exposure to newly listed assets.

PONS Climbs on Robinhood Chain Momentum

PONS functions as the core token for the Pons launchpad, a non-custodial platform operating on Robinhood Chain, which itself went live on July 1. The launchpad captures value through transaction fees, channeling a portion into buybacks and token burns.

The Binance Alpha listing gave the token a clear lift. PONS rose 16% in 24 hours after already gaining 267% over the prior seven days, bringing its market capitalization to roughly $354 million. PONS reached an all-time high price near $0.515 shortly after trading opened, pushing its market cap past $360 million. Note that PONS is available on Binance Alpha 1.0 only.

FLORK Posts Triple-Digit Gains

FLORK draws its identity from the "Flork of Cows" webcomic, a series of deliberately crude stick-figure comics that became a meme staple across social media. The token wasted little time capitalising on its Binance Alpha debut, posting an explosive daily gain and reaching a market cap of approximately $30 million. The meme coin climbed about 293% and added more than 80% after entering Binance Alpha.

Users can now trade both tokens on Binance Alpha using market and limit orders. September has seen an accelerating pace of new listings on Binance Alpha, which serves as a staging ground for early-stage tokens before they potentially graduate to Binance's main exchange. The gains came against a weaker broader market backdrop, with the total crypto market capitalization dropping over 2% to $2.26 trillion and Bitcoin ($BTC) and Ethereum ($ETH) both trading lower.
