This Whale is stacking up BTC and ETH!
On-chain data from Lookonchain shows whale entity 0x2684 has deployed $184 million buying 1,050 $WBTC and 66,345 $ETH over 30 days, sitting on $10.8 million in unrealized profit.
A large on-chain entity identified as wallet address 0x2684 has been quietly building one of the more notable crypto positions tracked in recent weeks, aggressively accumulating both Bitcoin and Ethereum over a 30-day window, according to data from on-chain analytics service Lookonchain.
$184 Million Deployed Across BTC and ETH
According to Lookonchain monitoring, the wallet has acquired 1,050 $WBTC and 66,345.5 $ETH over the past 30 days, representing a total capital deployment of $184.11 million. The $WBTC position was built at an average entry price of $64,277, while $ETH was accumulated at an average cost of $1,758 per token. At current prices, the entity is sitting on an unrealized profit of approximately $10.8 million.
The scale of the position is consistent with earlier activity flagged by Lookonchain. Since June 30 alone, whale address 0x2684 had already accumulated purchases of 54,449 ETH (approximately $94 million) at an average cost of $1,726, alongside 600 WBTC (approximately $38.37 million) at an average cost of $63,950. The latest figures suggest buying has continued well beyond that initial window.
Pattern Points to High-Conviction Positioning
The accumulation pattern carries hallmarks of deliberate, long-term positioning rather than opportunistic trading. Large exchange withdrawals typically reduce immediate selling pressure and often signal long-term conviction from institutional investors. The entity appears to have been front-running local price strength in both assets, entering positions consistently rather than chasing momentum.
Lookonchain, the service that surfaced the data, has become a widely followed source for this type of intelligence. Lookonchain operates as a curated, narrative-driven whale tracking service distributed primarily through X, where its analysts manually research and contextualize significant on-chain movements, identifying the entities behind transactions and explaining their potential market implications.
The wallet's activity adds to a broader picture of sustained large-holder demand for core liquid assets. Whether 0x2684 represents a single institution, a fund, or a coordinated group of accounts remains unconfirmed. What the on-chain record does show is a patient, systematic buyer deploying meaningful capital into $BTC and $ETH at scale.
