Is this the rock-bottom level for $XRP?
XRP is trading around $1.08, well below its 2025 highs, with mixed signals on charts and a critical support zone at $1.00 to $1.05. Here is what traders are watching.
XRP is trading around $1.08 as of late July 2026, a sharp drop from the highs above $3 posted last year. The token briefly touched $1.06 recently, putting the key psychological floor at $1.00 firmly in focus.
A Prolonged Downtrend With Mixed On-Chain Signals
The daily timeframe reveals XRP locked in a downward trajectory that originated in July 2025. XRP remains in a short-term bearish trend, with various support levels previously thought to be secure lost in June, and the token now trading just above the psychological level of $1, experiencing lower highs and lower lows.
Yet the picture beneath the surface is more complicated. XRP has recorded one of its largest exchange outflow days of 2026, while US spot XRP ETFs continue to attract steady institutional demand. Santiment linked large outflow days to historically bullish price action, while ETF inflows showed steady institutional demand. However, those signals have not yet translated into a sustained price recovery. XRP keeps finding bullish narratives underneath the surface, but price keeps ignoring them. Exchange balances are shrinking and ETF money is still coming in, yet none of that stopped XRP from losing another support level, which is usually a sign that technical selling is overwhelming longer-term accumulation.
The $1.00 Level Is the Line That Matters
Downside support sits at $1.00. A thick band of buying activity between $1.00 and $1.06 has kept the price from slipping further, though a daily close below $1 could open the door toward $0.80. TradingView's daily technical summary has indicated a strong sell signal from moving averages and mostly neutral oscillators.
XRP has been chopping around the $1.08 to $1.10 range despite mixed momentum in the broader crypto market, neither staging a decisive breakout nor slipping into a sharp correction, suggesting traders are waiting for a stronger catalyst before taking fresh positions. A breakout above $1.15 would target the $1.20 to $1.25 range, while $1.07 remains crucial for bulls.
No one can say with certainty that current levels represent a floor. Higher buying activity and a clearer macro catalyst could confirm a reversal, but the dominant trend remains bearish until the charts say otherwise. Cryptocurrency is an extremely volatile and risky asset. Always do your own research before making any investment decisions.
