Aster (@Aster_DEX) turned one year old on Thursday, and the platform is marking the occasion by asking its users a pointed question: what still is not working?

To collect answers, the team launched the Aster UX Enhancement Program, opening 1,000 feedback slots to traders. The incentive is straightforward: submissions that lead to a real product change earn the contributor 10 aFEE, a credit that covers the next 10 USDT in trading fees.

A year of rapid expansion

CEO Leonard (@Leonard_Aster) used the anniversary to outline how far the platform has come since launch. Aster started as a perpetual DEX and, within twelve months, had built its own blockchain, added prediction markets, and introduced equity perpetuals alongside its core crypto offering.

That trajectory is visible in the product itself. Aster now offers perpetual markets on crypto, stocks, and commodities , while Aster Chain, its own Layer-1, is built specifically for private perpetuals trading, targeting more than 100,000 transactions per second with 50ms block latency.

The platform's growth was not organic alone. Key milestones along the way included the merger of Astherus and ApolloX , which formed the foundation Aster built on. Other achievements include the launch of multi-asset margin trading, the ASTER token generation event, listings on major centralized exchanges, a mobile app rollout, and features such as Hedge Mode and Trade and Earn.

What the platform looks like today

Aster is a multi-chain perpetuals DEX built for pro-grade execution, pairing hidden limit orders and on-chain settlement with a dual-mode interface. Fees run from roughly 0.01 percent to 0.08 percent depending on mode, with leverage available up to 1001x on select pairs across BNB Chain, Ethereum, Solana, and Arbitrum.

Hidden orders allow traders to execute without revealing intent, while stock perpetuals expand access beyond crypto into tokenized equity exposure. That breadth is part of what Aster is pitching to traders who want a single venue for both crypto derivatives and equity-linked products.

The UX feedback push signals that Aster is not treating its first birthday as a finish line. With 1,000 slots available and a direct fee credit on the table, the team is framing the program as a practical exchange rather than a marketing exercise. Traders looking to flag friction points have a clear window to do so, and a concrete reason to bother.
