Bitget Adds Bitcoin, XRP And More to Expanded Reserve Checks
Bitget has expanded its Proof of Reserves coverage from 4 to 19 assets, including Bitcoin, XRP, Ethereum, BNB, Solana, and major stablecoins, while reporting a 122% total reserve ratio.
Bitget Widens Reserve Coverage to 19 Assets
Crypto exchange Bitget has significantly broadened its Proof of Reserves (PoR) framework, upgrading coverage from four cryptocurrencies to 19 major assets. The update brings a much larger share of user holdings into its reserve verification infrastructure.
The expanded coverage includes $BTC, USDT, $ETH, LTC, LINK, $XRP, USDC, $DOGE, $BNB, SOL, ADA, NEAR, XAUT, TAO, SUI, ONDO, HYPE, PI, and USDGO.
Through the upgraded PoR page, users can view the reserve ratio and amount of user assets for each supported asset, assess whether reserves are sufficient, and see how user assets are distributed across different public blockchains.
Merkle Tree Checks and a 122% Reserve Ratio
Personal Proof of Assets verification has expanded across the same range, allowing users to independently check whether their holdings were included in a PoR snapshot using Merkle Tree verification. Detailed audit records, including Merkle hashes and snapshot information, remain available for users seeking deeper verification.
Users can perform their own verification through Bitget's open-source MerkleValidator and Proof of Reserves tools on GitHub, while publicly disclosed wallet information can also be reviewed independently on blockchain explorers.
Bitget has published PoR reports monthly since launching the practice in December 2022. As of August 2026, the platform had released 45 consecutive reports, with the latest showing an aggregate reserve ratio of 122%, comfortably above the 1:1 standard.
Bitget CEO Gracy Chen framed the expansion as a matter of user empowerment. "Users shouldn't have to simply take our word for it, they should be able to verify their assets for themselves," she said. "Proof of Reserves has been part of Bitget's transparency framework for nearly four years, and as the assets people hold on our platform become more diverse, that verification needs to expand with them. Expanding from four assets to 19 gives more users that visibility."
