Robinhood Chain Pulls Ahead on Weekly Revenue

Robinhood Chain has posted $15.85 million in seven-day app revenue, putting it ahead of Hyperliquid, which recorded $12.44 million over the same period. The gap is the latest sign that Robinhood's Ethereum Layer-2 network is building sustained momentum, not just fleeting daily spikes.

Built as an Ethereum Layer-2 network utilizing Arbitrum Orbit technology, Robinhood Chain has demonstrated rapid growth since its mainnet launch on July 1, 2026. In the weeks since, it has moved quickly up the on-chain revenue rankings. On August 30, 2026, the chain recorded $2.66 million in 24-hour application revenue, temporarily surpassing both Ethereum mainnet at $1.27 million and Hyperliquid L1 at $1.7 million.

Three Apps Doing Most of the Heavy Lifting

Robinhood Chain's record 24-hour app revenue was driven primarily by three decentralized applications: GMGN, Pons, and Uniswap, which collectively accounted for approximately 93% of total network app revenue. GMGN led at $1.11 million, followed by Pons at $930,587 and Uniswap at $306,877.

The revenue concentration is worth watching. A reliance on a small group of memecoin-focused applications leaves the chain's daily results sensitive to shifts in speculative trading volume. Longer-term data also adds context: over 30 days, Hyperliquid generated approximately $53.41 million in app revenue, compared with $23.23 million for Robinhood Chain. The seven-day comparison, however, now favors Robinhood Chain, and the trend is moving in its direction.

The network is designed to support Robinhood's broader push into tokenized real-world assets, particularly stocks and other financial products. Robinhood describes the network as "a permissionless, AI-native Layer 2 blockchain built for financial services and real-world assets." Whether memecoin-led activity can coexist with that institutional ambition, or eventually give way to it, is the central question hanging over the chain's next phase of growth.
