Bitmine Increases Treasury With 10,399 $ETH Acquisition

Another Weekly Buy as Bitmine Closes In on 5% of Ethereum Supply

@BitMNR has added roughly 10,399 $ETH to its balance sheet over the past week, according to the latest treasury disclosures. The purchase brings the firm's total Ethereum holdings to approximately 5.8 million tokens, representing around 4.8% of Ethereum's entire circulating supply.

Bitmine has bought ETH every week since the inception of its ETH Treasury Strategy on June 30, 2025. The Block's treasury tracker puts current holdings at 5,787,414 ETH, valued at roughly $10.8 billion. Chairman Tom Lee has outlined a plan to acquire 5% of the total Ethereum supply, a target the firm describes internally as the "Alchemy of 5%."

Staking Revenue and the MAVAN Platform

The accumulation strategy is not purely a passive bet on price appreciation. The company has staked 4,917,189 ETH, roughly 85% of its holdings, generating projected annualized staking revenues of $254 million. MAVAN, the Made in America Validator Network, was launched in 2026 as an institutional-grade staking platform and is now being positioned to serve external institutional investors, custodians, and ecosystem partners.

Alongside its ETH purchases, Bitmine repurchased 6.1 million shares of common stock during the most recent week under its previously authorized $4 billion share repurchase program. Chairman Lee has framed Ethereum as a key bridge between blockchain infrastructure and AI applications as Wall Street interest in both areas grows.

Bitmine, which trades under the ticker $BMNR, has undergone one of the more dramatic corporate pivots in recent crypto history, transforming from a traditional Bitcoin mining operation into something closer to a digital asset treasury company, with Ethereum as the centerpiece.
