Core ecosystem TVL experience a major boost
Core blockchain's Total Value Locked has risen nearly 25% in 30 days, while the $CORE token is up close to 30% over the same period, buoyed by broadly bullish crypto market conditions.
TVL and Token Price Move Together
@Coredao_Org's ecosystem is showing renewed momentum. The network's Total Value Locked (TVL) has climbed nearly 25% over the past 30 days, while the native $CORE token has gained close to 30% over the same period. The dual move in both on-chain activity and token price points to genuine demand rather than a purely speculative spike.
The gains sit against a backdrop of broadly positive crypto market sentiment, which has lifted assets across the board over the past week. For Core, however, the rally builds on a longer track record of ecosystem growth. Core operates as a Proof of Stake layer for Bitcoin, enabling non-custodial Bitcoin staking and supporting an EVM-compatible BTCfi ecosystem. The network counts roughly 76% of Bitcoin mining hash power contributing to its security and has accumulated over $1 billion in TVL on-chain since its mainnet launch in January 2023, across more than 31 million unique addresses.
What Is Driving the Growth
Core's TVL expansion has been underpinned by a diversified set of DeFi protocols. Lending and restaking account for over 86% of total TVL within the Core DAO ecosystem. The network has also maintained efficient block times and low transaction fees, making it an attractive platform for both users and developers.
On the product side, Core has been actively broadening its feature set. Beyond DeFi, Core leads in live Bitcoin staking, with innovations such as non-custodial Bitcoin staking, enhanced yields through Dual Staking, and Liquid Staked Bitcoin (lstBTC) driving adoption beyond TVL metrics. The project's 2026 roadmap focuses on Bitcoin DeFi and a shift to revenue-driven $CORE buybacks, centered on the SatPay neobank.
The latest 30-day surge adds to a pattern of steady ecosystem expansion, though investors should note that $CORE has experienced significant volatility this year and broader market conditions remain a key variable in any continued price move.
