Cosmos launched the Cosmos Partner Network on September 9, 2026 to help banks and financial institutions accelerate tokenized deposit and digital asset initiatives using its Tokenization Suite and digital ledger solutions. The move is a direct attempt to remove one of the biggest bottlenecks in institutional blockchain adoption: the slow, fragmented process of assembling the vendor stack needed to go live.

A Pre-Integrated Stack for Banks

Instead of assembling a patchwork of vendors on their own, banks can plug into a pre-integrated stack where custody, compliance, settlement, and KYC all speak the same language from day one. @cosmoslabs_io said the program pairs its Tokenization Suite and ledger platform with outside providers covering KYC and KYB checks, custody, and compliance monitoring.

The network debuts with 17 initial partners, including BitGo and Galaxy Digital, covering services such as custody, KYC/KYB verification, compliance monitoring, trading, settlement, security, and blockchain infrastructure. Cosmos provides the tokenization and ledger platform, while partners deliver integrated products that enable use cases like 24/7 payment settlement, programmable escrow, programmable trade finance, and agentic commerce.

Other founding members include Blockdaemon, OpenZeppelin, and Zeeve. OpenZeppelin secures onchain financial infrastructure for banks, asset managers, and fintechs, offering battle-tested audits, contract libraries, and security tools for tokenized assets and stablecoins. Zeeve is an enterprise blockchain infrastructure provider focused on supporting financial institutions deploying tokenized deposits and digital assets.

Pilots Into Production

The practical ambition of the network is clear. Cosmos did not identify a new bank or financial institution adopting the combined service at launch, and the company disclosed no deposited value, transaction volume, commercial contract, or date for a production deployment. Customer adoption will depend on whether financial institutions use several of those providers together and move real deposits or settlement activity through the resulting systems.

The program recognizes partners for the value they create and allows them to scale their business through introductions across the public and private networks that use Cosmos. The ecosystem of trusted partners can also participate in tokenized deposit initiatives and use cases with the financial institutions and banks Cosmos is actively working with. @cosmos has indicated it plans to add more partners to the program over time.
