@Zebec_HQ has added @MoneyGram Ramps to its streaming payroll infrastructure on the @StellarOrg network, giving workers the option to collect their stablecoin wages as physical cash in local currency at an agent counter, with no bank account required.

How the integration works

Zebec streams employee and contractor pay continuously in $USDC directly on Stellar. Under the system, businesses pay their workers through real-time, continuously streaming payments rather than at set intervals, with employees receiving funds directly in their digital wallets and accessing them immediately. With MoneyGram Ramps now embedded in that flow, recipients can take the additional step of converting their digital balance to cash at a physical agent location.

MoneyGram Ramps provides $USDC access on both Solana and Stellar at more than 470,000 MoneyGram locations across 170-plus countries and territories. Ramps supports cash deposits in more than 25 countries and withdrawals across more than 170 countries and territories. Access remains subject to local availability and applicable law.

A worker can receive streamed earnings in stablecoins, hold them in a wallet, and then spend or withdraw them through connected services. In markets where banking access remains limited, that model can expand payment access for contractors and remote workers.

Context: Zebec on Stellar

Stellar selected Zebec as its global stablecoin payroll infrastructure provider. This is the first time Zebec's streaming payment rails have been deployed on any chain outside Solana. The MoneyGram connection deepens the practical utility of that deployment considerably.

Stellar processes more than 250,000 USDC transactions daily, with stablecoin volumes reaching tens of millions of dollars per day, while transaction costs are typically less than a cent, making high-frequency payments and streaming economically viable. The network also operates in alignment with payment standards such as ISO 20022 and maintains deep connectivity to payment providers, fintechs, and regulated institutions.

The rollout will not happen all at once. Zebec is starting with core payroll functionality, then expanding into full global payout infrastructure, including fiat on- and off-ramps and connections to remittance networks.
