@DinariGlobal has officially adopted $USDC as the primary payment and dividend currency across its dShares network, opening onchain access to 724 U.S. securities and ETFs for eligible investors.

Full S&P 500 Now Accessible From a Self-Custody Wallet

Announced on 4 August 2026, Dinari says it is the first company to let eligible U.S. investors trade tokenized stock covering all 724 companies in the S&P 500 using $USDC through self-custody wallets. The launch runs through a partnership with Circle, allowing individuals and businesses to buy and sell equities directly onchain rather than routing every trade through a conventional broker.

dShares are tokenized representations of traditional equities, backed 1:1 by the underlying securities, with the underlying shares held in custody by a registered U.S. broker-dealer. Each dShare is tied to a corresponding stock held in qualified custody and is structured to preserve shareholder rights such as NBBO execution, voting, dividends, and corporate actions.

Dinari's dShares are available on Ethereum, Arbitrum, Base, and Avalanche blockchains, with support for Solana and Sei coming soon. Broker-dealers, banks, and other institutions can also license Dinari's API to offer the same tokenized stocks to their own customers through a single integration.

Dividends Paid Directly in USDC

A notable feature of the dShares structure is how it handles dividend payments. Dividends from the underlying shares are paid to Dinari and passed through to dShare holders in $USDC. For example, if Apple pays a $0.25 quarterly dividend and an investor holds 40 dAAPL on the record date, $10 of $USDC lands in their wallet on the payable date.

The company said its launch would start with restrictions while it tests the USDC funding, brokerage, and settlement system under live conditions. Markets for tokenized securities may be limited, the company noted, potentially making dShares harder to sell at a desired time or price, while regulatory treatment of the underlying technology continues to develop.

The move places Dinari at the front of a growing race to bring regulated tokenized equities to U.S. investors. In June 2026, Ondo Finance also introduced a model designed to comply with U.S. SEC rules, backed by shares of a BlackRock S&P 500 ETF and Micron stock, although that product had not yet launched for U.S. investors.
