Injective Protocol has crossed 3.06 billion cumulative transactions, processing 42.8 million in the last 30 days and sustaining 1.49 million transactions per day, reinforcing its position as a high-performance DeFi settlement layer.

The network is sustaining a daily throughput of approximately 1.49 million transactions per 24-hour cycle, a figure that points to consistent, deep-rooted demand rather than a short-term spike.
The milestone cements Injective's standing as one of the busiest settlement layers in decentralized finance. Injective is a specialized Layer-1 blockchain designed to serve as the technological foundation for the future of finance, combining exceptional transaction throughput, sub-second finality, and near-zero fees with native financial primitives engineered for sophisticated financial operations. The network achieves near-instant finality with a block time of 0.65 seconds and a capacity of up to 25,000 transactions per second.
Institutional Momentum Builds
The sustained transaction volume arrives alongside a broader wave of institutional activity on the network. Since January 2025, the protocol has handled roughly $34.4 billion in derivatives volume and a separate $888 million in spot trading, with derivatives split approximately 80 percent crypto and 20 percent real-world assets.
A record 58.8 million $INJ is now staked as of September 7, 2026, signalling strong holder conviction and network security. On the regulatory front, Injective Institutional Services is now registered with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission as a transfer agent, a milestone in the protocol's push to bring regulated financial and tokenized markets on-chain.
The protocol offers a fully on-chain orderbook exchange, MEV-resistant transaction ordering via frequent batch auctions, cross-chain interoperability with over 110 IBC networks and Ethereum, EVM smart contracts, and generative AI and agentic builder tools. That feature set, paired with the latest transaction data, signals that the network's throughput reflects genuine institutional-grade usage rather than speculative noise.
