@Injective has unveiled a new rewards layer for its $INJ Community BuyBack program, called the "Stockdrop" campaign. Participants who burn $INJ through the monthly program will now be eligible to receive randomly allocated tokenized equity shares connected to the @RobinhoodApp Chain, including names such as $NVDA, $SPCX, $SNAP, and $HIMS.

How the BuyBack and Stockdrop Work

The Community BuyBack is a monthly onchain event that allows anyone to take part in Injective's deflationary mechanism. Participants commit $INJ and, in return, receive a pro rata share of the revenue generated across the Injective ecosystem. The INJ exchanged is then permanently burned, reducing the total supply. The Stockdrop campaign adds a new dimension to this model: alongside ecosystem revenue, participants can now receive randomly distributed tokenized stock shares as part of their rewards.

Four rounds in, the program has delivered average participant earnings of roughly 23.9%, with burn sizes growing round over round and more community members getting involved each month. The introduction of equity-linked rewards is designed to broaden the appeal of the program and deepen integration with on-chain real-world assets (RWAs).

Robinhood Chain and the RWA Context

Robinhood launched the mainnet of Robinhood Chain on July 1, 2026. The network is an Arbitrum-based Ethereum Layer-2 that supports tokenized stock trading, DeFi yield products, and AI-powered autonomous trading across more than 120 countries. Robinhood Chain is built for tokenized real-world assets, with Stock Tokens issued as tokenized debt securities by Robinhood Assets (Jersey) Limited. They provide economic exposure to underlying securities like US shares and ETFs, but do not grant investors any legal or beneficial rights in those underlying securities.

By incorporating these tokenized shares into BuyBack rewards, Injective connects its deflationary tokenomics with the growing RWA derivatives ecosystem. The process rewards the community, increases the scarcity of $INJ, and aligns long-term value with ecosystem success. The Stockdrop mechanic reinforces that flywheel: burning circulating supply while simultaneously exposing participants to tokenized equity upside.

The full tokenized real-world asset market reached roughly $30 billion as of mid-2026, according to RWA tokenization market data. Injective's move to reward BuyBack participants with Robinhood Chain stock tokens positions it at the intersection of on-chain token burns and the rapidly expanding RWA sector.
