@Inter_Link has completed the first two phases of its $ITL reverse auction buyback program, confirming that all participants who committed assets during those rounds have received their full refunds to their wallets.

How the Buyback Program Worked

The program operated as a reverse auction, meaning $ITL holders submitted offers indicating how much of the token they wished to sell and at what price. At the time of the Phase 1 auction, 737 offers were submitted covering a total of 92,500 ITL, with asking prices ranging widely across verified and unverified participants. Offers not selected in the final review were returned to participants in full, with all committed assets sent back to the originating wallets.

The economic structure of InterLink rests on two assets with distinct roles: $ITLG, the user-facing token earned through Proof of Personhood mining and used for governance and reward distribution, and $ITL, the institutional and ecosystem instrument with a fixed 10-billion supply intended for strategic partners, large-scale capital, and on-chain payment rails.

Part of a Broader Ecosystem Roadmap

The protocol confirmed that the buyback infrastructure is a core component of the $ITL and $ITLG ecosystem roadmap, rather than a standalone event. InterLink uses facial liveness detection to eliminate bots and fake accounts, ensuring that network rewards and ecosystem utilities go directly to authentic human participants. The dual-token model is designed for long-term sustainability, with $ITLG carrying a fixed total supply of 10 billion tokens.

InterLink is actively preparing for the InterLink Chain mainnet and $ITL listing under strict international compliance standards, including AMLO, SFC VASP, and FATF Recommendation 15. The completion of the first two buyback phases signals continued progress toward those milestones, with the buyback mechanism reinforcing demand management for $ITL ahead of broader market activity.
