Kaspa ($KAS) has overtaken Pi Network ($PI) to claim the top spot for bullish community sentiment on CoinMarketCap, with 90.5% of CMC voters backing the asset despite recent price weakness.

$KAS Tops CoinMarketCap Sentiment Charts
Kaspa ($KAS) has leapfrogged @PiCoreTeam ($PI) to become the most bullish asset by community vote on CoinMarketCap. Following weeks of $PI holding the top position, sentiment has rotated toward the Kaspa blockchain, even as its token price has struggled to find footing.
The margin is notable. According to CoinMarketCap community data, 90.5% of voters are bullish on $KAS, compared to 80.5% for $PI. That 10-percentage-point gap suggests the shift is more than a brief fluctuation in crowd mood.
Other assets registering strong community interest on the platform include $WLD, $ADA, $BTC, $XRP, $ETH, and $SOL.
What Is Driving Kaspa Interest?
The renewed attention on $KAS comes despite a difficult stretch for its price. According to Changelly data, Kaspa is currently ranked No. 61 in the crypto ecosystem, with a circulating supply of approximately 27.6 billion KAS and a market cap of around $780 million.
Part of the longer-term bullish case rests on a significant network upgrade. The Toccata hard fork activated on June 30, 2026, transforming Kaspa from a payments chain into a programmable Layer 1, introducing covenants, native KRC-20 tokens, and ZK verification opcodes. This provides the infrastructure for decentralized finance and decentralized applications.
New token emissions are also on a declining path, projected to approach zero by the end of 2026, which could significantly reduce sell-side pressure from new issuance. That supply dynamic, combined with the Layer 1 upgrade, appears to be keeping community conviction elevated even as the spot price remains under pressure.
Whether that sentiment translates into sustained price recovery remains to be seen. A sustained move higher for KAS likely depends on improving sentiment across the broader crypto market.
