Sui is Getting a Bigger Gateway to WEB3 Users

KuCoin Web3 Wallet has added full support for Sui Network mainnet assets, marking another step in the exchange's push to expand its self-custodial product beyond simple spot trading.
What the Integration Offers
KuCoin's Web3 Wallet now supports Sui mainnet assets, giving users the ability to manage tokens on the Move-based layer-1 blockchain directly from the platform's self-custodial interface. Users can hold, send, receive, and interact with tokens built on the Sui network without leaving the wallet interface, including access to decentralized applications and cross-chain swaps.
Sui itself is a layer-1 blockchain built on the Move programming language. Move was originally developed for Meta's Diem blockchain and offers safer and more efficient programming. Rather than tracking transactions as changes in wallet balances, Sui uses an object-centric approach, monitoring state changes to individual objects such as tokens or digital assets.
A Deepening Relationship Between KuCoin and Sui
KuCoin first listed $SUI for spot trading back in May 2023 and enabled USDC deposits on the Sui network in October 2024. The wallet integration extends that relationship into native on-chain asset management.
KuCoin's Web3 Wallet has been on something of a chain-collecting spree throughout 2025 and into 2026, adding support for networks including Robinhood Chain, 0G, Monad, and HyperEVM. The Sui addition continues that pattern, broadening the wallet's multi-chain reach for users seeking a single interface across major layer-1 networks.
Wallet integrations alone do not always move markets, and there were no immediate signs of price fluctuations or notable trading volume changes in $SUI following the announcement. Even so, broader wallet-level access to a network typically lowers the barrier for new users to interact with its decentralized ecosystem directly.
