LinkersMap on Interlink Is Set To Launch Imminently
LinkersMap, the first mainnet dApp on the Interlink blockchain, is set to go live globally in September, giving ITL token holders access to a merchant network of over 1,400 registered businesses.
LinkersMap Prepares for Global Rollout
@LinkersMap, the first decentralised application to launch on the @inter_link mainnet, is set to begin operating globally in September. The platform will allow $ITL token holders to spend their tokens directly with a network of over 1,400 registered merchants, covering a range of products and services.
According to reports covering the platform, LinkersMap is designed as a global marketplace where people can buy and sell products while using digital assets as a payment option. It also helps users locate nearby businesses that accept token-based payments.
The project has attracted attention as the first dApp on InterLink designed to bring practical services to users, with the focus placed on creating an environment where businesses and customers can interact through blockchain-supported infrastructure rather than launching another purely financial instrument.
Real-World Utility for the ITL Token
The September launch marks a significant step in establishing a concrete use case for $ITL beyond peer-to-peer transfers. According to information shared by the Interlink Foundation, the project was developed to support real-world commercial activity rather than purely speculative use cases.
The broader @inter_link network has been built with payments at its core. InterLink Chain is an EVM Layer 1 designed for real-world payments, tokenized assets, and scalable digital commerce, connecting blockchain technology with the global economy. Instead of relying on Proof of Work or Proof of Stake, Interlink introduces Proof of Personhood, a consensus model where each participant is a unique, verified human.
InterLink is actively preparing for the InterLink Chain mainnet and $ITL listing under strict international compliance standards, including AMLO, SFC VASP, and FATF Recommendation 15.
The launch of LinkersMap signals a shift toward tangible token utility, though the platform's long-term success will ultimately depend on sustained merchant participation and active consumer adoption.
