Brazilian Bitcoin treasury firm @OranjeBTC is preparing to list a new exchange-traded fund on Brazil's B3 Stock Exchange that would give local investors access to preferred shares issued by some of the world's largest corporate Bitcoin holders. The fund, called the Digital Yield ETF and trading under the ticker DIGY11, is slated to debut in early September.

What DIGY11 Offers

The ETF will be the first listed on B3 dedicated to international preferred shares from companies within the Bitcoin ecosystem. Its initial portfolio will allocate roughly 95% to Strategy's preferred stock, $STRC, with the remainder going into Strive's equivalent instrument, $SATA. Both securities pay recurring U.S. dollar distributions. $STRC has surpassed $10 billion in notional value since its launch, while $SATA raised more than $780 million after debuting in November 2025.

Distributions will be paid monthly in Brazilian reais, and the fund will include currency hedging designed to reduce the impact of BRL/USD swings on investor returns. Daily liquidity will also be available from the moment the fund goes live. Under current market conditions, @OranjeBTC projects annual returns of CDI plus 3% to 5%.

Portfolio management will be handled by 3R Investimentos, with fiduciary administration sitting with Banco Daycoval. The benchmark is the MarketVector Bitcoin Treasury Preferred Equity BRL Hedged Index, developed by @OranjeBTC in partnership with MarketVector, an index provider within the VanEck group. The methodology screens for Bitcoin ecosystem companies based on factors including liquidity, size of Bitcoin reserves, leverage levels, and distribution payment history.

OranjeBTC's Position in Brazil

@OranjeBTC recently listed on B3 under the ticker OBTC3, holding approximately 3,675 $BTC valued at around $444 million, which made it Latin America's largest publicly traded Bitcoin treasury firm at the time of its debut. DIGY11 extends that strategy by packaging exposure to Bitcoin-linked preferred equity into a regulated, locally traded product denominated in reais, removing the need for investors to open overseas brokerage accounts or manage foreign exchange directly.
