Sui & Avalanche Brings High Yield Fund Into Tokenized Finance
Securitize and Neuberger Berman have launched HINC, a tokenized high-yield fixed income fund available across Sui, Avalanche, Ethereum, and Solana, marking Neuberger's first role as subadvisor to a tokenized fund.
Securitize and Neuberger Launch Multi-Chain High-Yield Fund
Securitize and Neuberger Berman have launched the Neuberger Securitize High Income Tokenized Fund (HINC), bringing an actively managed high-yield fixed income strategy onto public blockchains. The fund launched on August 18 and will invest mainly in high-yield bonds and issue interests across Avalanche (@avax), Ethereum, Solana, and Sui (@SuiNetwork).
HINC will invest primarily in high-yield bonds, alongside CLOs and leveraged loans. The launch broadens the types of institutional investment products available in tokenized form, moving beyond the Treasury and money market strategies that have represented much of the early activity in tokenized funds.
Neuberger will serve as subadvisor in its first engagement with a tokenized fund. Its fixed-income platform manages more than $230 billion in assets, while the firm manages about $613 billion overall. Securitize CEO Carlos Domingo said the launch gives eligible investors access to Neuberger's established fixed income capabilities through four leading blockchain networks, supported by Securitize's regulated, end-to-end tokenization platform.
Although the fund's interests are represented on public blockchains, participation will remain restricted. Investors must qualify as accredited investors or qualified purchasers and complete Securitize's onboarding process, including know-your-customer and anti-money laundering checks.
What the Launch Means for Sui and Avalanche
For Sui, the launch provides another test of whether blockchain infrastructure can support increasingly sophisticated regulated financial products alongside the compliance, custody, and investor controls required by institutions. Sui has pointed to its programmable infrastructure as a key feature for handling these requirements.
The launch also expands the range of financial assets available on Avalanche. The network already supports tokenized products tied to areas such as credit and government securities. HINC now adds an actively managed high-yield strategy to that market.
Securitize has about $4.96 billion in distributed asset value across 26 tokenized real-world assets, according to RWA.xyz data. Its products include BlackRock's $2.7 billion BUIDL fund, a $355 million tokenized AAA CLO fund, and a $95 million Apollo diversified credit fund.
