TVL and Price Move Together

@StellarOrg is flashing some of its strongest short-term metrics in recent memory. Over the past 24 hours, total value locked on the network rose 10.83% to $242.9M, while $XLM gained 16.21% to trade at $0.180. Daily fees surged 86.01% to $1,914, marking a short-term high for the chain.

What makes the move notable is the simultaneous lift in both TVL and price. It is common to see one rise without the other, particularly when price rallies are driven by speculation rather than genuine network usage. Here, the data suggests actual demand for block space and on-chain activity, not just token momentum.

Over the past 30 days, the picture is broadly constructive. TVL is up 7.74%, app fees earned total $516,685, and $XLM carries a market cap of $6.22B. The one counterpoint worth noting: 30-day chain fees have fallen 12.73%, which suggests the 24-hour spike may reflect a short burst of activity rather than a sustained structural shift in fee generation.

A Network With Growing Foundations

The short-term data sits on top of a longer trend of ecosystem development. In 2025, Stellar saw real-world assets increase by 172% and TVL rise 95% to over $179 million. The network supported 800 active projects, and the number of full-time developers grew by 31%.

The lending protocol Blend crossed $80 million in TVL early in 2026, while a sophisticated DeFi ecosystem has been quietly maturing on the network. Stellar smart contract transaction fees increased 88% year-over-year in Q1 2026, rising from $57,030 to $107,230.

Stellar is a decentralized blockchain built specifically for fast, low-cost payments and asset transfers across borders, and institutional adoption has followed that positioning. Franklin Templeton and WisdomTree have tokenized funds on Stellar, and ABN Amro has issued a tokenized digital bond on the network.

Whether today's 24-hour spike in fees and TVL marks the start of a fresh leg higher or simply a brief flare of activity remains to be seen. But the underlying fundamentals have been building steadily, and the combination of rising TVL and price in the same window is a signal worth watching.
