Uniswap is Taking a Huge Share Of Robinhood's Tokenized Stock Market
Uniswap now controls the vast majority of tokenized stock trading on Robinhood Chain, with cumulative volume surpassing $1.5 billion since the platform's July 2026 launch.
Uniswap Dominates Robinhood Chain Liquidity
Uniswap says it now handles 80% of Robinhood stock token volume, with reported activity reaching roughly $10 billion. The figures point to rapidly growing appetite for tokenized equities traded around the clock on decentralized infrastructure.
Data from multiple analytics providers supports the picture. Uniswap controls approximately 99% of all tokenized stock DEX liquidity on Robinhood Chain, split between its v4 deployment at around 73% and v3 capturing the remaining 26%. Cumulative volume crossed $1 billion by mid-August 2026, then climbed to $1.5 billion within six weeks of launch, with a single-day peak of $130 million recorded on August 29.
Around 60% of that trading activity takes place outside traditional US market hours, underscoring the core appeal of tokenized equities: continuous, borderless access to assets like Apple, Nvidia, and Tesla without the constraints of a conventional brokerage.
A Launch Partner With First-Mover Advantage
Uniswap's grip on the market is partly a product of timing. When Robinhood Chain went live on July 1, 2026 as an Arbitrum-based Layer-2, Uniswap was among the first-wave partners, deploying its full protocol suite including v2, v3, v4, and UniswapX as the primary public liquidity venue from day one.
That early positioning matters. With deep order books across more than 190 stock tokens, traders on the chain have had little reason to look elsewhere. Uniswap's v4 architecture also introduced permissioned pools designed specifically for regulated assets, letting issuers and liquidity providers set access rules so only verified participants can interact with certain pools.
Robinhood Stock Tokens are structured as ERC-20 tokenized debt securities, giving holders economic exposure to major US equities and ETFs without conferring voting rights or direct share ownership. The tokens are available in more than 120 countries but are currently excluded from the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom, and several other major markets.
The broader tokenized equity sector has also grown sharply. A year ago, tokenized stocks accounted for roughly 0.1% of total DEX spot volume. That share has since climbed above 4% year-to-date, representing billions in cumulative DEX volume across the sector.
