Valhalla ships patch v1.13.0 to its testnet with reworked reward delivery and combat changes.
Valhalla, the FLOKI-built play-to-earn MMORPG, releases testnet patch v1.13.0 featuring a new mail-based reward system, single-account sign-in, Combat HUB positioning, full Vera ability sets, and improved chest drop rates.
@ValhallaP2E, the @FLOKI-built play-to-earn MMORPG, has pushed patch v1.13.0 to its testnet, bringing a meaningful set of changes to both its reward delivery and combat systems.
Backed by a multi-million dollar treasury, Valhalla is FLOKI's most ambitious product: a browser-based MMORPG powered by the $FLOKI token, featuring turn-based tactical combat in hexagonal battle arenas, NFT creatures called Veras, and an expansive open world. Since its mainnet launch on June 30, 2025, the title has been playable in the browser on opBNB.
Reward System and Account Changes
The v1.13.0 update targets several core areas of the game. On the rewards side, a new mail system now delivers rewards directly to players rather than requiring them to collect manually. The patch also consolidates the login experience to a single-account sign-in, reducing friction for new and returning players.
Combat and Vera Upgrades
Combat management sees the most structural change. The Battle Arsenal has been removed entirely, with players now setting positions through the Combat HUB instead. The Combat HUB is where players prepare and build strategies to battle with other Vikings and wild Veras, serving as the focal point for competitive gameplay.
Veras, the game's signature collectible NFT creatures with unique attributes, abilities, and upgrade paths, gain their full ability sets for the first time in this patch. Chest drop rates have also been increased.
The update also lays groundwork for mobile readiness. An iOS and Android app was originally promised for 2025 but has since slipped to 2026, and the client-side work in v1.13.0 is the first sign of progress at the patch level. Economy changes are also flagged as forthcoming, though no specifics have been published.
All changes in this release are confined to testnet for now, with no confirmed date for a mainnet rollout.
