Worldcoin recovered Tuesday's decline with a 12.38% gain to $0.3627
Worldcoin's WLD token bounced 12.38% to $0.3627 on Wednesday after sliding to near $0.318 on Tuesday, with trading volume jumping nearly 40% to $271 million.
WLD Snaps Two-Day Slide With Sharp Rebound
Worldcoin's $WLD token posted a 12.38% gain on Wednesday, recovering to $0.3627 after a sharp pullback that had pushed the price to near $0.318 on Tuesday. The move retraced much of the token's slide from around $0.372 on Monday, though $WLD remains just short of that weekly high.
Trading volume climbed 39.71% to $271.04 million alongside the price recovery, a sign of renewed buyer participation rather than a low-liquidity bounce. The token's market capitalisation sits at approximately $1.3 billion following the move.
Supply Dynamics Keep Fully Diluted Value in Focus
Circulating supply stands at around 3.6 billion WLD tokens, against a maximum supply of 10 billion. At current prices, that places the fully diluted value at roughly $3.62 billion, a figure investors watch closely given the scale of tokens still to enter circulation.
The total supply is capped at 10 billion tokens, with a significant portion allocated to the community, protocol development, and the Tools for Humanity team, meaning meaningful selling pressure could emerge as tokens are distributed to early contributors and investors.
Ahead of Wednesday's bounce, analysts had flagged $0.30 as a key support level, with moving averages converging around $0.36 as the next resistance zone to clear. A breakout above that level could put $0.40 to $0.50 targets back in focus.
Wednesday's rebound keeps $WLD within a recovery range that has been building since the token struck a 2026 low near $0.23 earlier in the year. Technical analysts remain divided over whether the move represents the beginning of a sustainable trend reversal or simply another consolidation phase within a broader downtrend.
Worldcoin is Sam Altman's iris-scanning identity project, and WLD is its native token, used across World ID verification. More than 26 million people have joined World Network by creating an account in World App, and more than 12 million people have an Orb-verified World ID.
