XRP is trending in the United States
CoinGecko's country-level trending data shows XRP ranking among the most-searched crypto assets in the United States, alongside Bitcoin, Shiba Inu, Solana, Ethereum, and several memecoins.
XRP Surfaces as a Top Trending Asset in the U.S.
Ripple's $XRP has emerged as one of the most-searched crypto assets among U.S. users, according to CoinGecko's country-level trending tracker. The platform ranks assets by popularity based on user activity, giving a real-time snapshot of where retail attention is focused at any given moment.
The timing is notable. $XRP has posted a price increase of roughly 40.50% over the past seven days, outperforming the broader crypto market, which is up approximately 11.30% over the same period. That kind of momentum tends to pull search traffic, and CoinGecko's data reflects exactly that.
$BTC was also a prominent name on the U.S. trending list, consistent with its continued dominance across the market. Bitcoin dominance currently sits at 57.6%, with Ethereum at 10.9%.
Memecoins Share the Spotlight
The broader U.S. trending list offers a snapshot of the market's current mood: established large-caps sitting alongside speculative plays. Alongside $XRP and $BTC, other top trending assets in the United States include $CASHCAT, $PUMP, $SHIB, $ZEC, $PONS, $SOL, and $ETH. The presence of several memecoins points to a risk-on appetite among U.S. retail participants.
CoinGecko's trending list highlights the top cryptocurrencies on the platform, sorted by coins that are most searched for in the last three hours. The country-specific version of that feature breaks down that search activity by region, making it a useful gauge of localized sentiment rather than a global average.
For $XRP specifically, institutional interest is also a factor worth noting. Spot XRP funds recorded $23.87 million in inflows on August 26, reflecting continued institutional demand and a broadening of the crypto ETF market. That combination of retail search momentum and institutional inflows suggests the current interest in $XRP goes beyond simple price chasing.
Whether the trend holds will depend partly on whether $XRP can sustain its recent gains. The token traded at $1.43 on August 26, down 3.3% over 24 hours, following a near 43% weekly surge that pushed its Relative Strength Index to 87, firmly in overbought territory.
