TVL on Core Blockchain is positive on the day
Core DAO's Total Value Locked has jumped roughly 7-10% in 24 hours, led by the b14g restaking platform which has crossed $4M in TVL on the Core blockchain ecosystem.
Core DAO TVL Climbs on the Day
@Coredao_Org is seeing a notable uptick in on-chain activity. The Core blockchain's Total Value Locked has risen nearly 10% over the past 24 hours, with DeFi data provider DefiLlama recording a 7.37% gain driven by activity across several protocols in the ecosystem.
According to Spark Money's BTCfi research, Core DAO is the largest Bitcoin sidechain by TVL, with over $314 million locked and more than 5,500 $BTC staked, representing roughly 26% of all Bitcoin sidechain TVL. Today's move adds to that broader momentum.
b14g Leads the Pack
The standout performer behind the daily gain is @b14g_network. The restaking platform has recorded over $4M in TVL, making it the dominant protocol in the Core ecosystem at present. According to DappRadar, b14g is a Bitcoin restaking protocol that uses a Merge Restaking mechanism, allowing users to combine staked $BTC with $CORE tokens to restake across Bitcoin-aligned networks. Slashing penalties apply only to CORE, keeping BTC protected throughout the process.
The platform's Merge Marketplace removes capital barriers by connecting BTC holders and CORE holders, enabling both groups to access the highest dual-staking yield tiers without needing to hold both assets simultaneously. Core DAO's own developer ecosystem report highlights b14g as one of the standout projects to emerge from the BTCfi hackathon and reach mainnet.
Behind b14g, the second and third largest TVL positions on the Core blockchain are held by SatoshiCore Swap and @colend_xyz, rounding out an ecosystem where lending and restaking together account for the bulk of locked value.
