ARB Posts Sharp Gains as Robinhood Chain Revenue Climbs

@Arbitrum's native token ethereum:0xb50721bcf8d664c30412cfbc6cf7a15145234ad1 is having a strong moment. According to CoinGecko, the asset has surged more than 30% in the past 24 hours and is up nearly 50% over the past two weeks, making it one of the standout performers across the crypto market right now.

The catalyst is a familiar one: revenue. Arbitrum jumped more than 30% as Robinhood Chain's 24-hour transaction revenue passed $2 million, sending 10% of net protocol revenue back to the Arbitrum ecosystem. That revenue-sharing arrangement is proving to be a meaningful driver of sentiment around $ARB.

ARK Invest's Lorenzo Valente calculated that gross chain revenue on Robinhood Chain rose from $54,676 on August 22 to $1.088 million on August 30, close to a 20-fold increase, with Arbitrum's share scaling from $5,400 to $108,000 over the same stretch.

Why Robinhood Chain Matters for Arbitrum

On July 1, the Robinhood Chain mainnet powered by Arbitrum went live. As an Arbitrum chain, Robinhood Chain remits 10% of its net revenue to the Arbitrum ecosystem, the same revenue-sharing model that applies across 30-plus Arbitrum chains that settle outside Arbitrum One, as part of the licence economics of this product line.

Offchain Labs co-founder Steven Goldfeder confirmed that fees from Robinhood Chain and other Arbitrum Layer 2 networks send 10% of net protocol revenue back to the Arbitrum ecosystem, with 8% directed to the tokenholder-controlled Arbitrum DAO treasury and 2% allocated to development funding.

Robinhood Chain, an Ethereum Layer-2 built on Arbitrum's technology, concluded August having generated more than $1 million in revenues for its network, an astonishing feat given that it only went live on the public mainnet 60 days ago.

Arbitrum's open interest surged to around $88.1 million, suggesting fresh positions are entering the market, and the funding rate has also turned more positive, indicating a growing preference for long positions. Still, traders should keep a close eye on near-term risks. Arbitrum is scheduled for another major token unlock on September 23, 2026, with around 139 million ARB expected to enter circulation, representing roughly 1.4% of the total supply, which could create selling pressure if investors choose to take profits.

The @Arbitrum ecosystem, now celebrating five years in the industry, appears to be benefiting from a structural shift: enterprise chains built on its stack are translating directly into token-level revenue, giving $ARB holders a more tangible economic stake in the network's growth.
