Binance added on-chain data tools to its DYOR tab for Alpha tokens
Binance has expanded its DYOR tab with five on-chain data features for Alpha tokens, covering holder distribution, cross-chain liquidity, large deposits, project fundamentals, and open interest data.
Five New Features Now Live in the DYOR Tab
@binance has expanded its DYOR (Do Your Own Research) tab with five on-chain data tools aimed at giving traders a clearer view of Binance Alpha tokens before committing capital. Alpha tokens typically represent newer or discovery-stage assets that have not yet graduated to a full spot listing. Users can access the tab through the Binance app by opening the Spot Trading page of a supported Alpha token and selecting the DYOR tab.
The five additions cover a broad range of metrics. First, top holder distribution maps where tokens are concentrated across exchanges and decentralised exchanges. Second, cross-chain liquidity data includes drawdown tracking so traders can monitor how liquidity shifts across networks. Third, large deposits into exchange wallets are flagged alongside source addresses, offering a clearer picture of on-chain capital flows. Fourth, project fundamentals bring together team information, total value locked (TVL), fees, and revenue in one place. Fifth, Binance open interest and funding rates are presented alongside spot market data, giving traders a more complete view of market positioning.
The tool also includes basic project metrics such as TVL, fees, revenue, team member profiles, and development updates from official channels. The tool is designed to surface this data within Binance's interface rather than requiring users to navigate external block explorers or analytics platforms independently.
Data Provided As-Is, No Warranty Attached
@binance has been clear about the scope and limits of the feature. Binance stated that DYOR presents data for information only and does not offer trading advice or recommendations. The exchange notes that the underlying data comes from third parties and is provided on an as-is basis, with no warranty attached. The DYOR tool provides raw or structured blockchain data, not buy or sell recommendations.
Alpha tokens may have limited public data compared with established coins, so direct access to on-chain information can help users check market activity more clearly. The launch reflects growing user demand for better token discovery and evaluation tools directly within exchange platforms. For traders evaluating early-stage assets such as those found in the $BNB ecosystem, having liquidity, holder, and fundamental data consolidated in a single tab reduces the need to cross-reference multiple external sources.
