BlackRock's Ethereum ETF pulls in $122M in a day as ETH funds post their strongest session in months
BlackRock's $ETHA fund took in $122.12M on August 19, leading spot Ethereum ETFs to a combined $189.15M daily haul, their biggest single-day total in roughly 10 months, per SoSoValue data.
BlackRock Dominates a Record Session
Spot Ethereum ETFs logged their largest single-day inflow in roughly 10 months on August 19, pulling in a combined $189.15M, according to SoSoValue data. @BlackRock's $ETHA drove the session, accounting for $122.12M in inflows, roughly 65% of the total. Fidelity's FETH followed with $36.54M, and Grayscale's mini trust added $16.04M. BlackRock's staking ETHB and Morgan Stanley's MSSE also posted net inflows of $9.7M and $2.25M, respectively. Every major fund in the group finished in positive territory.
Distribution stayed narrow, however. Those three leading funds supplied 92% of the intake, while four of the 11 listed products recorded no flows at all.
A Turning Point for ETH Funds
The session marks a meaningful shift in momentum. Ethereum funds shed $540.88M in May and $528.99M in June, according to SoSoValue. August has since proved a notable turnaround, with the funds collecting $534.2M so far this month, their strongest monthly total of the year.
Total net asset value of spot Ethereum ETFs now stands at $12.06B, with a net asset ratio of 4.51% relative to Ethereum's total market cap. Historical cumulative net inflows have reached $11.74B. Combined net assets reached $12.06B, the highest since May 21.
Ethereum surged nearly 18% on the day, reclaiming the $2,200 level, a move that analysts say helped attract fresh institutional capital into the ETF wrapper. Market analysts note that institutional investors' expanding crypto exposure is translating into ETF inflows.
