Grayscale introduces asset portfolios driving exposure to LINK, BTC, ETH, and SOL
Grayscale has launched four model portfolios giving institutional and individual investors structured exposure to Bitcoin, Ethereum, Solana, Chainlink, and other digital assets through its ETP suite.
Grayscale Rolls Out Four Model Portfolios for Digital Asset Investors
@Grayscale has launched a suite of four model portfolios designed to give both institutional and individual investors structured, objective-driven exposure to the digital asset market. The move builds on the firm's existing exchange-traded product (ETP) lineup and is aimed squarely at financial advisers looking to allocate to crypto at scale.
Each model is built around a distinct investment objective and provides suggested allocations across the digital asset ecosystem. All four portfolios are market-cap weighted, rebalanced quarterly, and subject to a 40% weighting cap per asset.
The four portfolios are:
Digital Assets Core Plus: Designed to provide broad exposure to established digital assets, combining $BTC and $ETH with select leading assets such as $SOL and $LINK. The portfolio is market-cap weighted, rebalanced quarterly, and subject to a 40% weighting cap per asset.
Digital Assets Leaders: Designed to provide exposure to the five largest eligible digital assets held in single-asset Grayscale ETPs. As market leadership evolves, the portfolio adjusts to maintain exposure to leading assets.
Digital Assets Next Gen: A portfolio of crypto assets providing exposure to established and emerging digital assets, excluding Bitcoin, across the broader digital asset market.
Digital Assets Infrastructure: Targets the protocols powering smart contracts, tokenization, and related blockchain infrastructure, giving investors a way to back the foundational layer of the ecosystem rather than individual currencies.
A Broader Push Into Mainstream Finance
Grayscale is the world's largest digital asset-focused investment platform, founded in 2013, and has been at the forefront of bringing digital assets into the mainstream. The firm has a long history of firsts, including launching the first Bitcoin and Ethereum exchange-traded products in the United States.
Grayscale continues to expand its offering by providing investors, advisers, and institutional allocators with access to a broad range of digital assets through a comprehensive suite of investment products spanning ETFs, private funds, and diversified strategies. The model portfolio launch represents a further step in that direction, offering pre-constructed frameworks rather than leaving allocation decisions entirely to individual advisers or investors.
The timing reflects a broader shift in the industry. Financial advisers have faced growing client demand for digital asset exposure but have often lacked ready-made tools to deploy allocations efficiently. Grayscale's model portfolios aim to close that gap by packaging its ETP range into defined, rebalancing strategies.
