Robinhood Chain hits record-breaking milestone in transactions
Robinhood Chain has crossed 750 million transactions, highlighting rapid network growth and the platform's ability to convert its massive retail user base into active on-chain participants.
750 Million Transactions and Counting
@RobinhoodCrypto's blockchain network has crossed 750 million total transactions, marking a significant milestone for one of the fastest-growing Layer 2 networks in the Ethereum ecosystem. The figure underlines the platform's rapid ascent since its public mainnet went live on July 1, 2026, just weeks after a testnet phase that itself recorded 4 million transactions in its first week.
According to data tracked by Datawallet, the network was averaging 11.6 million daily transactions during the week ending August 11, roughly 30% higher than the prior week. That pace of accumulation explains how the chain has been able to reach the 750 million mark in such a compressed timeframe.
Robinhood Chain is an Ethereum Layer 2 built on Arbitrum's Orbit stack, running 100-millisecond block times and settling to Ethereum mainnet for security. It launched with Uniswap and Chainlink integrated from day one, and was designed primarily around tokenized real-world assets and 24/7 financial services.
Retail Scale Meets On-Chain Activity
What sets this growth apart from other Layer 2 networks is the source of demand. Robinhood enters the chain business with tens of millions of existing retail brokerage customers, giving it a distribution advantage that purpose-built crypto networks rarely enjoy. The 750 million transaction figure reflects the platform's ability to convert that retail base into active on-chain participants rather than passive holders.
The broader network metrics back up the transaction count. DEX volume on Robinhood Chain reached $1.595 billion on September 1, up 61% from a record set just days earlier, according to DeFiLlama data. Total value locked on the network has also climbed sharply, with protocol TVL exceeding $1.27 billion by early September.
It is worth noting that a 90-day gas subsidy covering eligible Robinhood Wallet transactions is set to expire on September 29, 2026. How transaction volumes and fee generation hold up after that date will offer a clearer picture of genuine organic demand on the network.
