Zebec Processes $54M in Monthly Payroll as Card Volume Runs at $71M Annualized Pace

@Zebec_HQ published its August monthly report showing the platform processed $54 million in payroll during the month, covering 15,800 employees across 269 enterprise clients. Those figures are self-reported by Zebec. Card spending is running at a $71 million annualized pace across 97 countries, based on a rolling four-week figure cited in the report.

Zebec's enterprise payroll product enables companies to pay employees and contractors in stablecoins like $USDC, distributing salaries in real time rather than on traditional payroll cycles. The Stellar launch represents another milestone in Zebec's broader multichain strategy, as the company expands payroll and payment infrastructure across leading blockchain ecosystems. Zebec's August report lists 22 chains supported across its network.

Stellar Client Count Grows, Buyback Tops 504.7M $ZBCN

Enterprise $USDC payroll on @StellarOrg has grown to 18 clients, up from 15. The real-time payroll platform features an enterprise dashboard designed for HR managers overseeing large, global teams, and allows employees and contractors to receive funds instantly into digital wallets, spend through Zebec's Mastercard-powered cards, or convert digital dollars into local currency through the global payout network on Stellar.

On the token side, Zebec has now bought back more than 504.7 million $ZBCN. The buyback program is funded by operating revenue generated across enterprise payroll, payments infrastructure, Zebec Cards, and related financial services. Tokens acquired through the program are held in a designated on-chain Buyback Treasury Wallet and with Uphold Institutional.

On supply, the final scheduled token unlock was set for March 2026, marking the conclusion of early-stage token allocations and reflecting ZBCN's transition into a more mature, utility-driven phase of the network. Zebec describes the token as moving into a deflationary phase from that point, with buybacks funded by operating revenue as the primary supply management mechanism.
