Binance is Bringing Wall Street ETFs To Crypto Users
Binance has launched ETF Wealth Management on Binance Earn, giving eligible users access to 11 US-listed Treasury and bond ETFs executed through licensed brokers Nest Trading and Alpaca Securities.
Binance Adds ETF Wealth Management to Binance Earn
Binance has taken another step toward blurring the line between crypto and traditional finance. The exchange launched ETF Wealth Management on September 15, a new feature within Binance Earn that gives eligible users access to 11 US-listed exchange-traded funds focused on income-generating strategies.
All 11 funds are concentrated on cash-management and income-oriented strategies, primarily short-term US Treasury ETFs and investment-grade bond ETFs. The initial selection includes the iShares 0-3 Month Treasury Bond ETF (SGOV), State Street SPDR Bloomberg 1-3 Month T-Bill ETF (BIL), iShares 0-1 Year Treasury Bond ETF (SHV), Alpha Architect 1-3 Month Box ETF (BOXX), and PGIM AAA CLO ETF (PAAA), among others.
The product is organized into cash management, steady income, and yield enhancement categories, with investment horizons ranging from under six months to over a year. That structure gives users a straightforward way to match fixed-income exposure to their preferred time frame, all from within the same account they use for crypto trading.
Real Shares, Not Tokens: How the Infrastructure Works
A key distinction of the new service is that users are buying actual ETF shares rather than synthetic or tokenized equivalents. Unlike tokenized stock products, where tokens represent claims on underlying securities, Binance Earn is structured around direct ETF share purchases, with the interface provided by Binance while the operational chain for trading and holding the securities is handled through traditional brokerage channels.
After users place an order via the Binance app, the order is routed through Nest Trading to Alpaca Securities for backend processing such as execution, clearing, and custody, ultimately connecting with the US securities clearing system. Nest Trading Limited is Binance's broker-dealer licensed by the Abu Dhabi Global Market, and functions as the introducing broker, sending orders to Alpaca Securities LLC, a US-registered self-clearing firm that handles execution, clearing, settlement, and custody.
Binance said ETF Wealth Management is designed as an information and access channel rather than a savings product, and the service does not provide fixed or guaranteed returns. Users must complete identity verification and activate Binance Stock Trading to be eligible.
The launch fits into a broader push by Binance into traditional finance. The exchange has been expanding its non-crypto offerings, including securities-related products that use the same overall customer platform, and earlier in September added physically settled options on more than 1,000 US stocks and ETFs.
