Bitwise XRP ETF Leads the Pack

@Bitwise has reached a notable milestone: its spot XRP exchange-traded fund has crossed $500 million in cumulative net inflows, making it the first XRP ETF to hit that threshold. The Bitwise XRP ETF became the first spot XRP exchange-traded fund to cross $500 million in cumulative net inflows since its launch, according to data tracked by SoSoValue.

Bitwise Asset Management, the global crypto asset manager with over $15 billion in client assets, launched the fund on NYSE, with trading beginning on November 20, 2025, under the ticker XRP. The fund carries a management fee of 0.34%, waived for the first month on the first $500 million in assets.

Since it started trading publicly, the fund has not seen a single month of outflows, taking in $72.89 million in January and $32.26 million in February, followed by steady inflows across March, April, May, and June.

Institutional Demand and a Competitive Landscape

The milestone underscores growing institutional demand for digital asset exposure through regulated fund vehicles. Portfolio managers are increasingly looking to $XRP as a complement to $BTC and $ETH positions, drawn in part by the ETF structure itself. The ETF format allows traditional investors to gain exposure to XRP without directly holding or managing the cryptocurrency, which has been a key factor in driving inflows.

By mid-2025, long-running legal uncertainty that had kept institutional capital at arm's length had resolved, and the SEC introduced new generic listing standards for commodity-based cryptocurrency ETPs, compressing what had historically been a 240-day individual review process to approximately 75 days. That regulatory clarity opened the door for a wave of competing products.

The next largest fund by cumulative net inflows is the Canary Capital XRP ETF at $466.97 million, followed by Franklin Templeton's XRP ETF with $413.23 million. The absence of monthly outflows for the Bitwise XRP ETF suggests a stable investor base and sustained confidence in the asset class.

The milestone also reflects broader momentum behind the XRP community. The XRP Ledger has facilitated over 4 billion transactions since inception, with average daily volume of $1.9 billion and average settlement time of 3 to 5 seconds.
