Stellar is showing strong momentum
Stellar's TVL has climbed 18.7% in a month to $261.8M, while XLM is up 11.3% over 30 days and 31.5% over 90 days, pointing to a sustained uptrend across both network activity and token price.
TVL and Price Both Trending Up
Stellar (@StellarOrg) is posting back-to-back gains across its key metrics. The network's total value locked has risen 18.7% over the past month to $261.8M, while its native token $XLM is up 11.3% over 30 days and 31.5% over 90 days. As of writing, XLM is priced at $0.199 with a market cap of $6.8B. Taken together, the data points to a sustained uptrend in both on-chain activity and token value over the past quarter.
The TVL move is not happening in isolation. The lending protocol Blend crossed $80 million in TVL in early 2026 according to DeFiLlama, a figure that reflects genuine demand for on-chain borrowing and lending on Stellar rather than speculative inflows. Aquarius, a decentralized exchange on the network, was also holding over $40 million in TVL in early 2026, acting as a reliable liquidity hub for the broader ecosystem.
Institutional Activity and Protocol Upgrades Adding Depth
The on-chain momentum is being supported by growing institutional interest in Stellar as a settlement layer. Stellar has crossed $2 billion in tokenized real-world assets on the network, representing more than 4x growth in 12 months. These are actual financial instruments, including tokenized treasuries, bonds, and private credit sitting on-chain. The network processes over 5 million operations daily, serving institutions such as Circle, MoneyGram, and Franklin Templeton.
On the development side, the Stellar Development Foundation has set an ambitious 2026 target of $1 billion in growth for network asset value, expanding the network's role as a platform for capital across payments and financial applications. Stellar's real-world asset market value also reached $3.25 billion as of August 19, 2026, though transfer volume dipped, which analysts read as a sign of institutional accumulation rather than a retreat.
With TVL climbing, RWA issuance scaling, and $XLM reclaiming the $0.199 level, Stellar's current momentum appears grounded in network fundamentals rather than short-term speculation alone.
