Two Veteran Assets Join the SwissBorg Platform

@SwissBorg has expanded its digital asset roster by adding @Litecoin's $LTC and @Zcash's $ZEC to its wealth management platform. The move gives users direct access to two of the cryptocurrency industry's longest-standing tokens, both of which launched over a decade ago and remain active in payments and privacy-focused use cases.

Litecoin is a cryptocurrency that uses a faster payment confirmation schedule and a different cryptographic algorithm than Bitcoin, making it one of the original peer-to-peer payment protocols in the space. Zcash offers two types of addresses: transparent addresses that are publicly visible on the blockchain and shielded addresses that are more private, giving it a distinct role among privacy-oriented assets.

What the Integration Means for Users

With $LTC and $ZEC now listed, SwissBorg users can swap between the new assets and the platform's existing catalogue. SwissBorg allows users to buy, sell, and manage more than 400 tokens, and natively supports 12 different fiat currencies, with a focus on local European options alongside major global fiats.

Trades are routed through the platform's Smart Engine. SwissBorg acts as a broker and meta-exchange: when a user trades an asset, the Smart Engine aggregates liquidity from more than 40 centralized exchanges, decentralized exchanges, and forex markets. It can use direct on-chain execution and build synthetic routes for pairs that do not exist on any single platform, supporting more than 76,000 crypto-fiat, crypto-crypto, and fiat-fiat pairs.

The addition of $LTC and $ZEC reflects growing retail appetite for established, payment-oriented, and privacy-focused protocols. For SwissBorg, broadening its asset coverage is consistent with its broader positioning as a regulated, all-in-one crypto wealth platform rather than a simple exchange. The platform is regulated in Switzerland, Estonia, and France, and has never suffered a security breach.
