Etherscan Launches Official Explorer For Robinhood Chain
Etherscan has debuted Robinscan, a dedicated block explorer for Robinhood Chain, bringing real-time on-chain transparency to the Arbitrum-based Layer 2 network focused on tokenized assets and DeFi.
@Etherscan has unveiled Robinscan, a dedicated block explorer built specifically for the @RobinhoodCrypto chain, extending the kind of on-chain transparency tooling familiar to Ethereum users to Robinhood's growing Layer 2 network.
What Robinscan Offers
The explorer gives users real-time visibility into network activity, including transaction data, contract deployments, and wallet balances, mirroring the functionality Etherscan has long provided across the broader Ethereum ecosystem. Robinscan serves as a block explorer for Robinhood Chain, an Arbitrum Nitro-based Layer 2 network that is Ethereum-compatible and uses ETH as gas, with functionality similar to Etherscan on Ethereum mainnet: searching blocks, transactions, addresses, tokens, tokenized stocks, and Nitro batches all in one place.
Robinscan is a read-only explorer for Robinhood Chain (Chain ID 4663) that does not require wallet connection or seed phrase. That design choice is deliberate: according to Robinscan documentation, the platform was designed as read-only from the start, and users are warned never to enter their seed phrase or private key into any search field.
Why Robinhood Chain Needs It
Robinhood launched the public mainnet for its Layer 2 blockchain, Robinhood Chain, bringing tokenized stock trading live in more than 120 countries and introducing Robinhood Earn, a decentralized lending product offering an estimated 7% yield on USDG. Robinhood Chain's core pitch is bringing tokenized stocks and ETFs on-chain, blending traditional finance exposure with DeFi composability.
Just three weeks after launching on July 1, the chain had already attracted $450 million in total value locked and processed more than 95 million transactions, according to Robinhood Crypto GM Johann Kerbrat. Over the 30 days to August 31 it collected $3.13 million in chain revenue, ranking third among all blockchains behind Canton and Tron, and ahead of both Base and Ethereum. By September 4 it was generating $4.13 million in chain revenue in a single day.
The Arbitrum Orbit framework underpinning the chain provides lower transaction costs and higher throughput while inheriting Ethereum's security model. The network's ecosystem includes launch partners such as Uniswap, with integrations from Alchemy, BitGo, and Chainlink providing rapid block times alongside DeFi capabilities including lending and borrowing. With that scale of activity, a robust, industry-standard block explorer becomes essential infrastructure for traders, developers, and institutions operating on the network.
